Born to Run

In the book

Arnulfo Quimare is a celebrated Rarámuri runner and the first runner McDougall meets in the Copper Canyons. He goes into Caballo’s race as a favorite.1

He won the 2006 race, narrowly beating Scott Jurek.21 His nephew Silvino Cubesare also appears in the book.3
